Tanis Gray took her inspriation for the Truckee River cowl from the Truckee River, a northeasterly 121 mile-long river that runs through California and Nevada. The Truckee is the sole outlet of Lake Tahoe and drains part of the high Sierra Nevada, emptying into Pyramid Lake in the Great Basin.
Knit in the round so there is no wrong side, this cowl is worked as a long tube with a provisional cast on. The end is not bound off, but kitchenered together, forming a seamless loop. The cowl uses 1 hank each of 4 colors of Little Fox Vulpine DK at 231yds each. You can make your own color combos by visiting the Vulpine collection here.
This kit is YARN ONLY. The pattern may be purchased from Tanis's Ravelry store here.
